OSDP - Wiegand Converter (OSM-1000) Logo

OSDP - Wiegand Converter (OSM-1000)

Cypress Integration Solutions

Use the OSM-1000 OSDP-Wiegand Converter to adopt SIA's OSDP protocol, which is now an IEC international access control standard. The OSM-1000 conforms to all the testing requirements of SIA's OSDP Verified™ program.

The converter offers a choice of 2 operating modes: Use in PD (Peripheral Device) mode to connect a traditional Wiegand reader to an OSDP access control unit. Use in ACU (Access Control Unit) mode to connect an OSDP reader with a legacy Wiegand access controller.

Two OSM-1000 converters may be used together, one in ACU mode and the other in PD mode, to connect a Wiegand reader to a Wiegand Access Controller with an OSDP connection in between.

Note: No enclosure; board only.
