While the certifications listed on this page do not from an exhaustive list, they represent a grouping of recognized credentials, the attainment of any of which speak to an individual's commitment to personal growth and knowledge. The Certified Security Project Manager course meets the practical aspects of designing and managing security projects. It requires prospective candidates to demonstrate their ability and skills in implementing the concepts and tools of professional project management. This intensive program consists of several steps, examinations and demonstration of practical experience. The training course includes a 4-day instructor-led program.

CSI CCPR Information
Training for the Electronic Security Networking Technician (ESNT) certification is a 2-day 'nuts and bolts' program teaching the basics of IP network fundamentals applied to physical security. This course provides lecture, demonstration, and hands-on training in all aspects of IP physical security devices. Students learn how to program, connect, install, and troubleshoot IP cameras, access control, intercoms, and other devices. While many IT certifications deal with in-depth elements of networking, the ESNT is a first-level program specifically for physical security technicians and sales personnel. The program emphasizes hands-on, practical security-related applications. Students will receive all training necessary to successfully complete the ESNT certification written test, which is administered at the end of the training class.

The International Association of Professional Security Consultants has created the Certified Security Consultantâ„ designation for professional, independent security consultants. The CSCâ„ demonstrates depth of knowledge, professional objectivity, skills as a security consultant, and level of integrity. In keeping with the professionalism of the IAPSC, the CSCâ„ qualifications are designed to screen out product-affiliated salesman who call themselves security consultants. The CSCâ„ requires a combination of experience and education, as well as independence (professional objectivity) and adherence to a Professional Code of Ethics.
